Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 4, 2026 · Last updated: October 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AITop ("we", "us") handles information when you visit top.omc.network (the "Site"). AITop is an independent editorial project operated by the team behind the Omniverse Compute (OMC) ecosystem. The same policy language applies across omc.network, top.omc.network and forum.omc.network.
The short version: no account, no sign-up, no name or phone number. We do not run our own analytics or tracking pixels. We store one preference in your browser. Advertising is served by Google AdSense — you control personalized ads through the consent message and Google's ad settings (section 4).
1. Summary
- We do not require an account and we never ask for your name, postal address or phone number.
- We do not run our own advertising system, analytics suite or behavioural tracking pixels.
- We use browser localStorage — not cookies — to remember your language choice.
- Third-party advertising is served by Google AdSense, which may set cookies and use device identifiers.
- We publish no affiliate links and receive no commission on the tools we review. See our Terms of Use and About & Editorial Policy.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us. If you email us about a correction or a question, we receive your message and your email address. We use these only to reply and to keep a record of the correction request.
2.2 Automatically processed technical data. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs when you request a page — IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and timestamp — for security, abuse prevention and performance monitoring. These are retained by the provider for a short operational period.
2.3 Local storage on your device. We store a single key in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us:
aitop_lang— the interface language you selected (English or Chinese).
You can clear it at any time in your browser settings. With localStorage empty, the Site simply defaults to English.
2.4 What we do not collect. We do not collect names, payment details, precise location, biometric data, or health data. We do not build user profiles.
3. How we use information
- To operate, secure and improve the Site.
- To display advertising that funds the editorial work (section 4).
- To answer corrections, questions and rights requests.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising outside the advertising partners described in section 4.
4. Cookies, Google AdSense and personalized advertising
We set no first-party cookies. Cookies and similar technologies on the Site come from third-party advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons and device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info and, in the EU/UK, at youronlinechoices.eu.
- For details, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), a consent message is presented before advertising cookies are used, delivered through Google's certified consent management platform. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the privacy options link shown on the Site.
5. Third-party services we rely on
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery. Privacy policy
- Google AdSense — advertising. Privacy policy
- GitHub — source code hosting for the wider OMC ecosystem. Privacy statement
- Vendor websites — when you click through to a tool we review, that vendor's own privacy policy applies from that point on. We do not control it.
6. Legal bases (EEA / UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process information on these bases: your consent (advertising cookies and personalized ads), our legitimate interests (site security, abuse prevention, operating the Site), the performance of a service you request (answering enquiries) and compliance with legal obligations.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information. Advertising-related sharing is governed by the consent choice described in section 4.
To exercise any right, contact us using the details in section 11.
8. International transfers
The Site is served from global content-delivery infrastructure, and our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses offered by the relevant provider.
9. Data retention and security
Enquiry correspondence is kept only as long as needed to respond and to retain a record of the request. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short operational period. Data in your browser's localStorage remains until you clear it.
The Site is served over HTTPS. Because we deliberately collect very little, we limit collection rather than rely on protection alone. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Contact

12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
